When using the Human Geography basemap in ArcGIS Pro 3.5 and ArcGIS Pro 3.5.1, the halo effect causes overlapping of alphabets in the labels.

This issue is addressed in ArcGIS Pro 3.6.

Workaround

Removing text halo blur by changing the value from 0.5 to 0.0 works better.
