Bug

When using the 'Features to trace Trace on: Selected features' in the Utility Network Analyst toolbar, zero results will return unless all the participating geometric feature classes are present in the MXD.

Additional Information

Traveling between edges requires travel through the connecting junction--so to use this option, both junctions and edges need to be in the selection.

Workaround

Add all the participating geometric feature classes to the MXD
