Additional Information

This issue is fixed in ArcGIS Pro 2.7. It is highly recommended to always accept the default spatial reference xyRes and xyTol properties. Refer to the following links, https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/data/geodatabases/overview/feature-class-basics.htm and https://support.esri.com/en/white-paper/1301 for a better understanding of spatial reference properties and how they are used in storage and analysis.

Workaround

  • Change the Distance parameter to -8.6001 or -8.65.
  • Change Method to Geodesic instead of Planar.
  • Use the Pairwise Buffer tool.
