When using the Batch Attribute Editor widget, populating the Date field as 'New Date' in the pop-up disables the Save button when the 'Number and date format' setting of the user profile is set to 'Canada-Canada'.

Workaround

Switch the date (Display today’s date) to a different date. The Save button becomes active.
