When using the 'ASCII 3D To Feature Class' tool in ArcGIS Pro, the browse dialog box of the ASCII 3D Data parameter does not recognize the .xyz files.

Workaround

  • Drag the .xyz file from Windows File Explorer into the ASCII 3D Data parameter input box.
  • Drag the Windows folder with the .xyz file into the ASCII 3D Data parameter input box. Under the File Suffix parameter, specify a suffix.
