When using Collector for ArcGIS to download and take the web map offline while both feature services contain versioned data, a replica version is created even for a read-only feature service when used in conjunction with an editable feature service in a web map.

Additional Information

Collector Classic for ArcGIS (Android, iOS) has been retired and is no longer being updated. Esri recommends the ArcGIS Field Maps app as an alternative to Collector Classic as it combines the functionality of Classic Collector, Explorer, and Tracker. Note this issue does not apply to ArcGIS Collector.
