When using both the Search and Edit widgets in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, the feature become un-editable if the search uses an ID number.

The issue is not reproducible in the September 2021 release of ArcGIS Online. If experiencing issues, please reach out to Esri Support Services as a new reproduction case is needed for continued investigation.

Workaround

Deselect all the features, reopen the project and search for the features again.
