Additional Information
Some ArcGIS Online templates are built with the latest version of ArcGIS Experience Builder. The templates are in a newer version than the templates available in ArcGIS Enterprise, hence unable to be opened in ArcGIS Enterprise.
Workaround
Some ArcGIS Online templates are unusable in ArcGIS Enterprise. Use existing applications to create custom templates and use the newly created templates to build new applications.
- Use existing application to create custom templates and use the created templates to build new application.
- The broken application is found in the following Portal for ArcGIS installation folder location: '\arcgisportal\content\items\${appId}\resources\config'.
- Open the file in a text editor, search for the "exbVersion" parameter, and change it to the compatible ArcGIS Experience Builder version, for example, "1.5.0" for Portal for ArcGIS version 10.9.1.
- Refresh the application. Once the existing apps work, users can create templates using existing applications and use the custom templates instead of ArcGIS Online templates.
