laptop and a wrench

Bug

When using a range domain in an AXF file in ArcPad 10, the control on the edit form is created as a combo box. It will not allow the input of a NULL value causing the value to be set to zero and prompting the user with a warning that the value zero is outside of the values set for the range domain.

Workaround

The workaround for allowing NULL values for Range Domains in an AXF:1. Open the AXF in ArcPad Studio and delete the combo box pointing to the field with the range domain.2. Create a new edit box control and point it to the field with the range domain.3. Save the AXF.4. Open the AXF in ArcPad and now the Cover Size control can accept NULL input. The value is no longer set to zero.
