When using a network path \\share\arcgisserver\config-store\subfolder\config-store (copying the config-store using the directories within ArcGIS Server Manager > Site > configuration Store), this does not error out like the local drive\arcgisserver\config-store\subfolder\config-store (error: Failed to update the configuration store. The new directory cannot be a subdirectory under the current config-store directory). Need the network path to error out like the local path.

Additional Information

Issue is not reproducible on ArcGIS Server 10.9. Correct error returned when editing the config-store using subdirectory under the current config-store directory.

Workaround

Follow the direction on our supporting documentation and do not create a subfolder within the config-store as this is out of the scope of support.
