When trying to view a hosted feature service published from ArcGIS Pro in Portal for ArcGIS Map Viewer 10.8, the following warning message is returned: "The layer, <layer_name>, did not draw completely."

Additional Information

This issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1, which is the earliest supported release of ArcGIS Enterprise. If additional steps are required to create a reproducible workflow, please contact Esri Technical Support with the additional steps.

Workaround

  • Set the 'Map and Scene' application settings for 'Basemap' to 'None' OR
  • Set Coordinate System for the Map to WGS_1984_Web_Mercator_Auxiliary_Sphere.
