When trying to use a downloaded map in the ArcGIS AppStudio MapViewer template, the map is not displayed when selected in the gallery.

Workaround

1. Navigate to the MapViewer app in ArcGIS AppStudio.
2. Click Edit to open the Qt Creator.
3. Navigate to the file MapViewer > Views > MapPage.qml.
4. Add the following line of code between line 8166 and 8167: 

mmpk.path = "file:///" + filePath;.
