When the Viewshed tool is run on a very large dataset, the tool fails with the following error message, "ERROR 010067: Error in executing grid expression. Bad access location in visibility map (VMPUT)."

Workaround

Use the Split Raster tool to break the dataset into smaller subsets and process the subsets separately.
