When the underlying geodatabase is 10.3, setting standardized queries to False in ArcGIS for Server 10.4.1 leads to a full table scan for queries based on a DATE field.

With non-standardized queries, ArcGIS for Server does not parse or modify the queries. In this case, the application generating the query needs to write a modified query.
