When the region is set to Australia and the units to metric in the ArcGIS Online user profile, Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS edit mode's scale bar appears in KMs, but when the app is saved and launched the scale bar appears in Miles.

Additional Information

This issue cannot be reproduced in the latest version of Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS.

Workaround

From Edit My Profile, change the Region from Australia to World.
