When the Rebuild Address Locator or the Create Locator geoprocessing tools are running in ArcGIS Pro 3.3.x with special characters or the combination of alphabet letters/numbers in the Street Join ID field result in a crash.

Additional Information

The crash is not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro 3.4 beta2.

Workaround

  1. Create a new field in both attribute tables.
  2. Use Python to run the Calculate Field tool.
  3. Rerun both geoprocessing tools to successfully create or rebuilt.
