Bug

When the notebook view is open in ArcGIS Pro 3.0 and docked next to the layout view, after making the layout view active, copying content from a cell in the notebook view, and pasting the content to a new cell using the Ctrl+V keystroke, the content is pasted to the layout view as a text element.

StatusNon-Reproducible

Additional Information

This is not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro 3.1. When clicking on a notebook view in the latest 3.1 Beta build, the Contents pane appropriately refreshes and no longer presents the contents of the previously-active view, which in this scenario is the layout view, which is likely the cause of the paste target being the layout view (despite the notebook view being the active view in the supplied video demonstration).

Workaround

Close all tabs inside the ArcGIS Pro project except the notebook view, then use the Ctrl+V keystroke to paste to the designated cell.
