When the monitor is set to 200% zoom level in Display Settings, ArcGIS Pro does not save the pane placement, and the panes move to random positions upon re-opening.

This issue is fixed in ArcGIS Pro 2.6.

Workaround

  • Set the monitor to 100% zoom level.
  • Use ArcGIS Pro 2.2.x.
