When the Edit button under the Description tab in ArcCatalog is clicked, the Process Steps in the Lineage section of ArcGIS Metadata does not retain the correct order.

Additional Information

An intentional change in 10.1 SP1 to resolve problems upgrading from CSDGM format per NIM083667. Process date is mandatory, so should be present.

Workaround

To ensure that the Process Steps remain in chronological order in which they were entered, users must provide a time value along with the Process Step Date in the Lineage section.
