When synchronizing mobile services for particular feature classes on certain GPS devices with ArcGIS for Windows Mobile 10.2, the following error message is returned: "Error: Could not establish protocol with the service."

Issue not reproducible.

Workaround

One potential workaround is:1. Ensure the mobile GPS device has an Secure Digital (SD) card. 2. When the project is downloaded for the first time, the default location must be the SD card.3. The download must complete successfully.
