When symbolizing a TIN surface using the Slope option in ArcGIS Pro 3.1.1, the values of class breaks entered manually for the upper value field are automatically overwritten.

This issue is addressed in ArcGIS Pro 3.4.

Workaround

  • Convert the TIN surface using the Tin To Raster tool, and use the Slope tool to define the slope intervals. The output is a raster layer.
  • Convert the TIN surface using the Surface Slope tool and define the slope intervals using the Class Breaks Table parameter. Refer to https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/3d-analyst/surface-slope.htm for more information. The output is a polygon feature layer.
