Workaround

There are a few workarounds, but with various side effects:

  • Ensure all streets have the street name populated. This requires significant changes to the data for all unnamed streets.
  • Duplicate the existing DirTravel field to a field called HwyDirTravel, and delete the values in the new field for streets that are not highways. Use HwyDirTravel for the 'Highway Direction' Field Mapping for directions for UPS_STREETS. This requires adding and maintaining a new field.
  • Complete and unset the Highway Direction source field so it does not use Highway Direction at all. This changes the U-Turns to two-turn instructions instead of just a U-Turn.
