When selecting the feature in FeatureTable, the clearSelection() method is called after the map extent or zoom level gets to the level where the features first appear, which clears the selection when zooming to the selection in ArcGIS API for JavaScript 3.39.

Additional Information

This issue is not addressed in ArcGIS API for JavaScript 3.x. The issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.23. In order for the selection to display correctly, pass the view into the FeatureTable upon constructing it. An updated codepen display this, https://codepen.io/hgonzago/pen/WNdZOGN?editors=1000.
