When selecting a feature's corresponding feature-linked annotation, then change the label attribute from any string to NULL, ArcMap crashes.

Workaround

At Step 5, Do not select both OpenPoint feature and the new Annotation feature, if only select the OpenPoint feature, ArcMap won't crash when change the attribute LABELTEXTDESIGN for OpenPoint feature from "MD2550" back to NULL.
