Additional Information

In order to get the country code in the suggested candidate, map the CountryCode field instead of the Country field in the Field mapping of the Create Locator tool, and the value in the field mapped to the Country Code role field must be a 3-digit or character country code like Great Britain.   For example, to build a POI locator using the world cities layer, use the following field mapping: •    Place Name (required) = City Name. •    Country Code = Field with 3-character country code.

Workaround

Add a field for the country code to the reference data and populate it with a three-character country code. Then assign the new field to the CountryCode locator role field in the Field Mapping of the Create Locator tool. See the Supported Country Codes column for the input value to use as the three-character country code in the reference data.
