When searching by layer in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, if an entry has an asterisk (*) as the second-to-last character, the search bar stops displaying suggestions when the last character is entered.

Additional Information
When using the `prefix` searchType, another asterisk (*) is added at the end, so if the searchTerm is 'ABCD*F', the actual query term with the prefix is 'ABCD*F*'.Workaround
Use the `simple` searchType or use a prefix length that is less than the actual word.
