When running the same Python script on ArcGIS Pro 3.2, the results are the reverse of when run on ArcMap 10.8.1 (for example, the mosaic operators 'FIRST' and 'LAST' are reversed).

Workaround

To achieve the same results in ArcGIS Pro, replace the mosaic operator 'FIRST' with 'LAST'.
