When running the Generate Light Sector tool in Projected Workspace (World Mercator), the tool is creating straight segments between sectors rather than arcs.

Workaround
Work around steps for generating light sectors.1) Load PLTS Nautical feature dataset data into ArcMap, or open the product map document containing the charting data.2) Either project the data manually, or project it with the Grid Layout tool after Grids have been generated, if this has not yet been done. This should be Mercator (World) modified with the standard parallel and central meridian set as well.3) Run Generate Light Sectors geoprocessing tool. LightSectorsL should be added to the Table of Contents after the tool has completed.4) If working in a versioned environment, switch all layers to CM, and then start an edit session. You should not need to register LightSectorsL as versioned, since there was no schema change made.5) Set LightSectorsL as the only selectable layer, by right clicking on the layer > Selection > Make This The Only Selectable Layer.6) Examine arcs to see if any light sector arcs are appearing straight by panning and zooming as needed.7) Select a “straight” arc. This may be a bit challenging since the curved arc is there, only it is drawing straight. Once the arc is selected, you will see the “straight” arc and the selected curve—that is, the selected feature will appear curved.8) Once the arc is selected, from the PLTS Editing toolbar, click the Modify Selected Feature. This will change the line so that all vertices are visible. Most likely there will only be start and stop vertices (2).9) Place your cursor along the curved arc, carefully right-click, and then strike the “i” key. This will insert a new vertex.10) Continue inserting vertices along the line—the number you add will control how finely the straight arc will curve, more vertices will create a more fine a curve. Some experimentation may be needed. You may not need as many as you think.11) Strike the F2 key when finished inserting vertices to view your results. If necessary add more vertices to refine the curving. It is not recommended you move the vertices, only add or delete them along the curving arc.a. To delete a vertex, hover your cursor over a vertex—the cursor will change to four arrows.b. Right-click and choose delete from the drop-down.c. If it is the last vertex you inserted, ctrl + z will undo/delete that vertex as well.12) Save your edits when fully satisfied with the arc.13) If necessary, select a new “straight” arc and correct it as well, following steps 7 thru 12.14) Continue saving edits as needed.15) Move onward to other cartographic finishing when all arcs are curved.Steps to Reproduce
