Option 1: Use the 'Enable undo' button to force an edit session during the calculation.
Option 2: Refresh the map (not the attribute table) after the calculation. This should empty the cache and refresh the attribute table as well.
Option 3: Use the 'Empty' cache button before or after running the calculation. See: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/layer-properties/manage-feature-cache.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_944E4201BE92422DBDCC783949F451A7. Enable the button if this button is not available. See: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/layer-properties/manage-feature-cache.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_C30D73392D964D51A8B606128A8A6E8F.
Option 4: Use the SQL expression type to perform the calculation. This may not always be possible when performing complex Python, Arcade, or VBScript as the expression type.
Option 5: Set the layer properties cache setting to 'Don't cache any data locally'.
