When running an install patch in ArcGIS for Server 10.1 SP 1 on Linux, the installer fails to install to the correct folder if another folder exists in the install path with a similar name.

Additional Information

I tried applying patch on Server 10.1 SP1 and 10.2.2 and could not reproduce the problem.

Workaround

Rename the folder and the install is successful.
