Bug

When running a Manage Map Server Cache tool to update an existing cached map service, the updated service becomes corrupted until the service is restarted when the cache directory for the service is stored in an Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) bucket registered cloud store.

Workaround

Restart the service after managing the map server cache or use a local directory for the cache directory when publishing to ArcGIS Server.

Users can clear the REST handler cache by using "https://localhost:6443/arcgis/admin/system/handlers/rest/clear" .

This displays the service correctly with the updated cache. This does not require them to restart services at ArcGIS GIS Server 10.6.1.
