Bug

When publishing a service from a file geodatabase feature class joined to a table without adding the table to ArcMap, the feature layer is not displayed once published to the ArcGIS GIS Server when using a local drive letter path or mapped drive for the publisher folder path, and a UNC path to the same folder for the server folder path.

Additional Information

When registering an ArcGIS Server data store folder connection with a different publisher and server path, the ArcGIS Server can only replace these paths for information contained within the map document. Because the table was not added to the MXD, the path cannot be replaced with the server's path. This is as designed.

Workaround

- Add the table to ArcMap to create the join.- Use UNC paths in the map document, publisher folder path and server folder path (same as publisher folder path).
