When publishing a new image service using the 'Using an existing cache' option, the cache is not found even though it exists in the registered cache directories of the server.

Workaround

1. Move the cache outside of a folder in the ArcGIS cache directory and source the existing cache from the site(root) level.
2. Publish the image layer using the 'Using tiles from a new cache' option.
