When publishing a hosted feature layer with unique value symbology based on at least two fields, the field value of the other field is a concatenation of the values of both fields.

Additional Information

In ArcGIS Pro, the field displays the corresponding domain description rather than the original coded value. Based on this, no issue is observed in ArcGIS Online, as it appears to behave consistently in ArcGIS Pro.

Workaround

Change the class alias name by removing the other field record from the class.
