When publishing a custom print service to Portal for ArcGIS 10.9.1 with custom print templates created or modified in ArcGIS Pro 3.0, the templates are not detectable by the widgets in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder and ArcGIS REST API.

Additional Information

When .pagx files are created in ArcGIS Pro 3.0, the print service must be running in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.0 or above. Refer to the Workaround section. It is the same in desktop use cases. If created a .pagx file in ArcGIS Pro 3.0, do not directly open it in ArcGIS Pro 2.9 or older releases.

Workaround

  • If the .pagx files are created in ArcGIS Pro 2.9 or older, use ArcGIS Pro 3.0 when publishing a print service to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 or older.
  • Uninstall ArcGIS Pro 3.0 and use the previous ArcGIS Pro version (E.g. ArcGIS Pro 2.9.3).
