When polygons are added to a scene view in ArcGIS Pro under 2D data, clicking the center of the polygon does not select the polygon.

This issue not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro 3.1.Workaround
Turn on the map background or elevation layers to use the Select tool. Symbology other than the black outlines work as expected as well.
