When nesting 'sde.st_envintersects' or 'sde.st_intersects' inside 'sde.ST_Aggr_Union', Oracle fails with an ORA-03113 error in SQL Plus and a "No more data to read from socket" error in SQL Developer.

This issue turns out to be due to an Oracle bug: "Bug 25869323 - ORA-7445 QXUAGEAG DURING QUERY EXECUTION."
