When modifying the domains of a hosted feature layer with linked subtypes in the ArcGIS Solutions Deployment tool, changing the domain values of one applies it to the whole field, despite unchanged domains linked to other subtypes.

Additional Information

There are no plans to enhance this tool any further. The new capability is to be leveraged in ArcGIS Online to modify domains directly.

Workaround

Modify the domains on a local version of the data, then overwrite the existing hosted feature layer.
