When logging in to Portal for ArcGIS again, an invalidate error message “Unable to sign in. Make sure you type in your username and password correctly. Your password is case sensitive” is returned after two minutes.

Additional Information

This issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS Enterprise versions 10.8 and higher.

Workaround

Use one of the following options to resolve this issue.
  • Input the same username and password, and Portal for ArcGIS will authenticate the user into Portal for ArcGIS.
  • Refresh the browser and log in to Portal for ArcGIS.
