Additional Information

In ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript 4.31, integrated mesh shading has been disabled by default due to various requests (such as BUG-000169919). This can be re-enabled in the Scene Viewer by adding the URL parameter: betaFeatures=im-shading. Additionally, a future enhancement to the JavaScript Maps SDK is being considered to support 3D Object 3D Tiles. This would allow this kind of data to be loaded as 3D Objects, which would likely be more appropriate.

Workaround

Shading can be enabled on the integrated mesh 3D Tiles layers in Scene Viewer by adding the URL parameter: betaFeatures=im-shading. Additionally, a future enhancement to the JavaScript Maps SDK is being considered to support 3D Object 3D Tiles. This would allow this data to be loaded as 3D Objects, which would likely be more appropriate for this dataset.
