When iterating through a geodatabase via a model in ModelBuilder, the model fails with the error - "ERROR 000229: Cannot open <feature class pathname>. Failed to execute <geoprocessing tool>."

Additional Information

The described ERROR 000229 was not reproduced in ArcMap 10.8 and ArcGIS Pro 2.5.

Run the model in ArcMap.
