When installing ArcGIS License Manager on a *nix system that uses a centralized user store (AD, LDAP, Shibboleth), the Setup displays an incorrect error if the user installing ArcGIS License Manager is also running ArcGIS Server on any other system on the network that uses the same centralized user store.

Use different LDAP user accounts. It is documented in the Server installation guide that the same user cannot be used for Server and other ArcGIS products.Installation Guidelines: * ArcGIS Server cannot be installed to the same location as any other ArcGIS product. * No other ArcGIS product can be installed as the ArcGIS Server user. * If ArcGIS Server is installed on a machine, you will only be able to install other ArcGIS products in single-user mode (not in multiuser mode).Steps to Reproduce
