When inserting an object in ArcMap 10.8, the paper size of a word document increases.

Workaround

1. Launch ArcMap, and click Layout View.
2. Click the Insert tab > Object.
3. Click Create from File.., click Browse..., select the .docx file, and click Open.
4. Right-click the object, click Properties..., and click the Size and Position tab.
5. Observe the size of the page:
   1. Height: 14.0584 in
   2. Width: 10.1136 in
6. Manually change the size value to the following:
   1. Height: 11 in
   2. Width: 8.5 in
