When exporting large ArcGIS Pro layouts containing heat map symbology to image formats like JPEG and PNG with high resolution, the symbology is cut off in the output or displays differently.

Workaround

Export the layout to a vector export format, such as EMF or PDF. Open the file in other software, and save as the desired format. Alternatively, if acceptable, export the file at lower resolution like default, 96 dpi.
