Additional Information

This is expected behavior. To not include attachments, disable the 'maintains attachments' environment variable: http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/tools/environments/maintain-attachments.htm

Workaround

1. Export the desired feature class as a shapefile and then export the shapefile into the new geodatabase location(OR)2. Run a conversion tool, such as Feature Class to Feature Class. Once the tool is done running, run the Disable Attachments tool on the new feature class. This tool will delete the new feature class' attachment table and relationship class - <a href="http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/tools/data-management-toolbox/disable-attachments.htm" target="_blank">http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/tools/data-management-toolbox/disable-attachments.htm</a>
