When exporting a .csv table to a .dbf dBase table, the record number decreases in ArcMap 10.3.1.

Additional Information

The .csv fails to convert certain values for the field AZIPCD. This is a numeric field but there are alphanumeric characters for some of the rows (36, to be exact).

Workaround

Export the Table to File Geodatabase table or use ArcGIS Pro.
