When embedding a video using iframe in the ArcGIS StoryMaps, white borders on the left and right sides of the video are returned.

Videos added via an iframe are handled differently because they are hosted and served from 3rd party services, and the ArcGIS StoryMaps has limited control over how to display them. Adjusting the playback settings of the video on the service provider's website is likely to reduce the space on the sides of the video, but it is not likely to remove it.Workaround
Upload the video file in the Story Builder to have more control over how the video is placed in the video block.
