When editing or creating a new feature in a feature layer that contains multiple subtypes, the domain list of the first selected subtype is retained, even after choosing a different subtype afterwards.

This has been resolved at version 4.34 of the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript. This has been resolved in Q3 2025 of ArcGIS Online.Workaround
Refresh the browser or open another pane (such as returning to the previous step in the menu). This will reset the corresponding list with the newly chosen subtype.
