When defining the grid extent by using a Study Area/Hand Drawn Areas in Find Hot Spots (Grids), the grid layer is missing a projection and does not display properly.

Workaround

User the Define Projection tool in ArcToolbox and use a Business Analyst trade area as the projection import.
