When creating content in ArcGIS Online using Microsoft Excel files, the files are corrupted after some time and return one of the following error messages: "Undefined." or "There is an error."

Workaround

  • Create a layer view and work with the layer view, or publish through ArcGIS Pro.
  • Convert the Microsoft Excel format to a CSV format to publish.
